MAY MORNING
Now the bright morning star, days harbinger,
Comes dancing from the east, and leads with her
The flowery May, who from her green lap throws
The yellow cowslip and the pale primrose.
Hail, bounteous May! that doth inspire
Mirth and youth and warm desire;
Woods and groves are of thy dressing,
Thus we salute thee with early song,
And welcome thee, wish thee long.

I'm assuming you wrote that, and if you did, you did an very nice job on it. : )
You're welcome for the comments. Thanks for your birthday wishes!

Actually no I didn't write it, but I'm glad you like it! All the poems I have posted so far are from a "Poems for Children" book. I am really very bad at writing poems.
